MXLR Steering Motion Unit SMU-01 1/28 Servo MAX-13-004

Our MXLR Steering Motion Unit SMU-01 is a digital Hi-Speed servo, selected for the demanding world of 1/28 scale racing - and equally at home in any other class that fits its size and performance window.

When picking a servo for this scale, three things were on top of our list: Reliability, Speed and Power.
The servo is one of the most critical components in your car - it's the direct link between your fingers and the front wheels, and only a precise, repeatable response gives you the feel and control needed to extract the maximum performance out of your car!

 On top of that, a compact build and a low overall weight were a must, especially with the tight packaging and weight sensitivity of small scale cars in mind.

The SMU-01 ticks all of these boxes: a High Quality Coreless Motor paired with a High Accuracy Titanium Gear Set running on Ball Bearings, all packed into a Full CNC Aluminum Case.
The result is a servo that delivers razor-sharp response, rock-solid centering and a consistent feel from lock to lock - run after run.

Of course we also paid attention to the small details: the SMU-01 comes in a full black finish with our customized MXLR Laser Engraved branding, paired with a full black 28 AWG wire and a JST 1.5 connector for a clean install! 
Highspeed parameter settings: 0.052 sec/60° at 8.4V - exactly the response time you need to keep up with the fast pace of 1/28 racing.

Take care:
- Always make sure the servo and servo horn have full freedom of movement over the complete travel range - check that nothing can block or interfere with the rotation.
- Pay attention to a clean and tidy wire routing to prevent any damage or defects over time.
