MXLR FlexFill Body Insert for AVALON VORTEX   MAX-05-008

The AVALON VORTEX bodyshell is storming the market - and with its new design it also brings a few new challenges in terms of mounting and stiffening.

With its long front nose, there is a big gap to be filled between bumper and shell to keep the front in perfect shape under aero load and prevent it from bending down at high speed.
Usually ordinary bodyshell foam is used here, which works fine in most cases - but with more than 15mm of gap to be filled in the middle section, foam is simply not a reliable option anymore. It deflects, it wiggles, and it costs you front end consistency exactly where you need it most.

Already before the first big showing of the shell, we came up with a solution for this issue!
Our specially shaped MXLR FlexFill Body Inserts. Made from TPU and matched to the exact shape and angle of the VORTEX front end, they provide the perfect fitment with your bodyshell - and a perfect match with our MXLR FlexBumpers and most kit bumpers.

Installation is simple: just use thin double sided tape (not included) to mount the FlexFill Body Inserts inside your Avalon VORTEX bodyshell. The full set weighs only ~2.3g, while the amount of ordinary body foam needed to fill the same area comes in at ~1.9g - so you get a massive gain in stability and consistency for almost no weight penalty. 

Dimensions:
- Middle piece: ~16.50mm
- Left + Right pieces: ~6 - 10mm (from narrow to wide part)

INFO on fitment:
The fitment depends on many different factors like bumper shape, position of the bodyshell on the car, rake of the bodyshell on the car etc. We tried to make this as multifunctional as possible, and it will fit most common touring cars when the shell is mounted at neutral position. To fully ensure it fits, please measure the gap between bodyshell and bumper on your car and compare it with the dimensions listed above!
